1. About Kindled Home

Kindled Home is a handmade candle and wax melt business based in Colorado Springs, Colorado. We sell products through our online store, Etsy, in-person at farmers markets, through wholesale accounts, and via candle-making party events. References to “we,” “us,” or “our” refer to Kindled Home.

2. Acceptance of Terms

By visiting our website, placing an order, booking an event, or purchasing from us in person, you confirm that you:

• Are at least 18 years of age, or have the consent of a legal guardian

• Have read and agree to these Terms of Service

• Agree to our Privacy Policy and Return & Refund Policy

3. Products

3.1 Handmade Nature

All Kindled Home products are handmade in small batches. Slight variations in color, texture, scent throw, and appearance are natural characteristics of artisan products and are not considered defects.

3.2 Candle & Wax Melt Safety

Our products involve heat and open flame. By purchasing, you acknowledge and agree to follow all safety guidelines provided with your products, including:

• Never leave a burning candle unattended

• Keep candles away from children, pets, and flammable materials

• Burn candles on a heat-resistant surface

• Stop use when less than ½ inch of wax remains

• Use wax melts only with UL-listed warmers

Kindled Home is not liable for injury, property damage, or loss resulting from failure to follow safety instructions.

3.3 Scent Sensitivity

Fragrance oils and essential oils may cause reactions in individuals with sensitivities. If you have known fragrance allergies, please review ingredient information or contact us before purchasing. We are happy to share full ingredient details for any product.

4. Orders & Payment

4.1 Online Orders

Orders placed through our website or Etsy shop are subject to product availability. We reserve the right to cancel orders that cannot be fulfilled and will issue a full refund in such cases.

4.2 Pricing

All prices are listed in U.S. dollars. We reserve the right to change product pricing at any time. Prices in effect at the time of your order will apply to that order.

4.3 Payment

We accept major credit cards, debit cards, and other payment methods as displayed at checkout. Payment is collected at the time of purchase.

5. Shipping & Delivery

We ship within the continental United States. Estimated shipping times are provided at checkout but are not guaranteed. Kindled Home is not responsible for carrier delays once an order has been dispatched.

Risk of loss and title for products passes to you upon delivery to the carrier. For damaged or lost packages, please review our Return & Refund Policy and contact us within 7 days of the expected delivery date.

6. Returns & Refunds

Please refer to our separate Return & Refund Policy for full details on eligibility, timeframes, and the process for returns, exchanges, and damaged goods. Key points:

• Wax melts: all sales final (damaged or incorrect items eligible for replacement)

• Candles: exchange or replacement within 14 days for damage or manufacturer defect

• In-person / farmers market purchases: all sales final

• Candle-making party bookings: non-refundable; reschedule with 48 hours notice

7. Candle-Making Parties

7.1 Booking

Party bookings are confirmed upon receipt of a deposit. Your booking date and time are reserved exclusively for your group once the deposit is received.

7.2 Cancellation

Cancellations made with at least 48 hours notice may be rescheduled at no additional cost. Cancellations with less than 48 hours notice forfeit the deposit. No-shows forfeit the full booking amount.

7.3 Participant Conduct

Candle-making parties involve heat, fragrance oils, and melted wax. All participants must follow safety instructions provided by the host. Kindled Home reserves the right to remove participants who behave unsafely or disruptively. We are not responsible for injuries resulting from failure to follow safety guidance.

7.4 Age Requirements

Participants under 18 must be accompanied by a consenting adult who accepts responsibility for their participation.

8. Wholesale Accounts

Wholesale pricing and terms are made available to approved retail partners only. Wholesale customers agree to additional terms provided at the time of account approval, including minimum order quantities, resale restrictions, and payment terms. Kindled Home reserves the right to discontinue a wholesale relationship at any time.

9. Intellectual Property

All content on the Kindled Home website and associated channels, including but not limited to product names, descriptions, photographs, branding, recipes, and the Farm to Fork Collection concept, is the intellectual property of Kindled Home. You may not reproduce, distribute, or use our content for commercial purposes without written permission.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Kindled Home's liability for any claim arising from your purchase or use of our products or services is limited to the amount you paid for the product or service in question. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages of any kind.

11. Governing Law

These Terms of Service are governed by the laws of the State of Colorado. Any disputes shall be resolved in El Paso County, Colorado.

12. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. The effective date at the top of this document will reflect the most recent revision. Continued use of our services after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated terms.
